With the magnificent summer months coming to a screeching halt, I thought I would share some of the beaches I’ve had the pleasure of visiting . There’s nothing, not even a few months of bitter cold and snow, that can ruin the memory of relaxing in hot sand with waves licking at your toes.

A nice place to spend a day for both families and spring breakers. Bars are plentiful and theme parks are within an hour’s drive.
Roquetas de Mar in Almeria , Spain
Clear water, beautiful, rocky beaches, and paella is only a stone’s throw away.
Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY
Save the corn dogs for after the rides and swimming.
The Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ
Plenty of other diversions, like gambling and shopping, for when you tire of splashing
